Emergency Nursing

This is designed to enhance the skills and knowledge of registered nurses seeking to advance their careers in emergency nursing and provide the highest standard of care to patients in critical situations.

The goal of the programme is to develop an Emergency Nurse Specialist who will meet the growing needs of an ever-changing emergency department and provide leadership in the development of the future of emergency nursing in Ghana, the West African sub-region and globally.

Paediatric Nursing

This programme is designed to train Paediatric Nurse Specialists with requisite knowledge, skills, and competencies to improve healthcare outcomes in children and provide optimal leadership for child healthcare service delivery.

Haematology Nursing

This programme is designed to train specialist nurses with advanced knowledge in the various haematologic disorders and malignancies, their treatment and prevention, and offer care to haematology patients across the continuum of patient care.

Oncology Nursing

This programme is designed to train a cadre of specialist Oncology Nurses who demonstrate core capabilities and competencies in the care and support for patients with cancer across various stages of the disease.

Palliative Care Nursing

This programme is designed to train empathetic, trustworthy nurse specialists who are knowledgeable and competent in palliative care. These specialists would be committed to improving the quality of life of patients with life-limiting conditions and their families, applying both palliative and nursing ethics and principles in a culturally appropriate way.

Neuroscience Nursing

This programme is designed to train Neuroscience Nurse Specialists with advanced knowledge and skills required to provide comprehensive care to patients with neurological disorders, injuries, and other conditions affecting the nervous system.
