The College is governed by a 13-Member Council, which is the highest decision-making body of the College. The Governing Council is made up of the following members as outlined in the Act:
The Chairperson
The Rector of the College (Secretary)
The President of the College.
Two Vice Presidents of the College
And one representative of
The Ministry of Health, not below the rank of Director.
Dean/HoD of Nursing and Midwifery Schools
The Nursing and Midwifery Council
The Attorney-General, not below the level of Principal State Attorney
Residents of the College elected by Residents
Ghana Registered Nurses and Midwives Association (GRNMA)
